All of the notaries we use are what we consider to be “signing agents.” These are persons who have demonstrated familiarity with loan documents, and proficiency with the process of receiving packages, confirming appointments, and returning completed packages. Our guidelines state that signing agents should give “textbook type” answers when identifying various elements of the loan documents. They are directed not to give opinions about the terms of the loan, and to direct any questions about these details to the appropriate contact person at your company. What are our fees? Please contact us for a quote or a multiple signing rates and discounts. Fees are dependent on loan packages, transactions, and location. Below is an example of the average nationwide rates. Prices vary from state to state. Example: Loan Signing (1st set)** $150 Loan Signing (2nd set) $25 E-Docs $25 ** Limited to 40 miles round trip. What can I do to make the signing appointment run smoothly? Before the signing appointment, we suggest you call or email your clients and brief them on their terms, conditions, fees, and note rate. Also, inform them of the mobile notary and any additional documentation that they need to provide and returned with their signed documents.
